Can Claude post to social media?

Yes. Add the Upload-Post MCP server as a custom connector on claude.ai or Claude Desktop, sign in with OAuth, and Claude can publish, schedule and analyze posts on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and 9 more networks.

Does it work in Claude Code too?

Yes. One CLI command — claude mcp add — registers the same server in Claude Code, so you can publish from the terminal or from agents and hooks. There is also a Claude Code plugin and an Agent Skill for deeper automation.

Does Claude need my social media passwords?

No. You authorize once through OAuth with your Upload-Post account, and Upload-Post holds the platform connections. Claude only calls documented tools — it never sees your passwords.

Can Claude schedule posts and manage the queue?

Yes. Ask in plain English to schedule, list, edit or cancel posts. Claude can also read your queue settings and propose optimal posting times.

Is the connector free?

The MCP server is free and open-source (MIT). It works with any Upload-Post plan, including the free tier — you just need an Upload-Post account.

Which Claude plans support custom connectors?

Custom connectors are available on claude.ai paid plans and Claude Desktop. Claude Code works with any plan that includes it, using the CLI command with your API key.
