Hootsuite Pricing
Hootsuite costs $99 to $399 per month on its published plans: Standard at $99/mo, Professional at $199/mo and Advanced at $399/mo, with Enterprise quoted case by case. Standard lets you manage up to 10 social accounts. All three published tiers can be billed monthly or annually, and annual billing works out to a lower per-user monthly rate. Hootsuite pricing: the small print
The caveats the price table hides: what the headline number does not cover, and what pushes the bill up.
- The $99 / $199 / $399 figures come from Hootsuite’s own pricing FAQ on hootsuite.com/plans. Enterprise has no public number at all.
- The 10-social-account figure is stated for Standard. We did not find published account limits for Professional or Advanced, so we are not quoting any.
- Standard, Professional and Advanced are all offered on monthly and annual billing. Annual is the cheaper of the two on a per-user, per-month basis.
- A nonprofit discount exists on some plans; the page does not spell out which ones or by how much.
- The per-plan feature cards on hootsuite.com/plans did not render when we loaded the page, so this table deliberately lists no feature bullets we could not source. Check the live page before you commit to a plan.
What the same thing costs on Upload-Post
One profile is one account on every one of the 22 supported platforms, and the API is included on every plan, Free included.
Hootsuite’s entry point is $99/month for up to 10 social accounts. On Upload-Post, the equivalent starting point is $0: the Free plan is a real plan, not a trial, with 10 uploads a month, 2 profiles and full API access, no card required (TikTok posting is the one thing that needs a paid plan). If you need unlimited posting, Basic is $24/month ($16/month on annual billing) with 5 profiles, and a profile means one account on every one of the 22 supported platforms — so 5 profiles is up to 5 accounts per platform, not 5 accounts total. Professional at $50/month ($33 annual) covers 25 profiles and adds whitelabel. The honest caveat: Hootsuite is a full social media management suite with an inbox, listening and team workflows, while Upload-Post is a posting and scheduling API. If you are buying Hootsuite for the publishing, you are paying suite prices for it.
| Upload-Post plan | Monthly | Annual (per mo) | Uploads | Profiles |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 10 uploads/mo | 2 |
| Basic | $24/mo | $16/mo | Unlimited | 5 |
| Professional | $50/mo | $33/mo | Unlimited | 25 |
| Advanced | $147/mo | $118/mo | Unlimited | 75 |
| Business | $438/mo | $350/mo | Unlimited | 225 |
The Free plan is free forever, no card, with API access included. TikTok posting needs a paid plan.

Hootsuite pricing FAQ
The questions people actually search for, answered with the numbers above.
How much does Hootsuite cost per month?
Hootsuite’s published plans are Standard at $99/month, Professional at $199/month and Advanced at $399/month. Enterprise is custom-priced and has no public figure. Those are the numbers Hootsuite states in the pricing FAQ on hootsuite.com/plans, checked 17 September 2026.
Is there a free Hootsuite plan?
We did not find a free forever plan among the published tiers: the cheapest priced plan on the page is Standard at $99/month. If a free plan is what you are after, Upload-Post’s Free plan is free forever with 10 uploads a month, 2 profiles and API access, and it does not ask for a card.
How many social accounts does the $99 Hootsuite plan include?
Standard, the $99/month plan, lets you manage up to 10 social accounts. Hootsuite does not state account limits for Professional or Advanced in the FAQ we read, so check the live plans page if the account count is what drives your decision.
Is Hootsuite cheaper if you pay annually?
Yes. Standard, Professional and Advanced can all be billed monthly or annually, and the annual option comes out to a lower per-user monthly rate. Hootsuite does not publish the exact annual percentage in the FAQ, so treat the $99 / $199 / $399 figures as the monthly-billing reference points.
What is the cheapest alternative to Hootsuite for publishing?
If you only need to publish and schedule, an API-first tool is a fraction of suite pricing. Upload-Post starts free and its cheapest paid plan is $24/month ($16/month annual) with unlimited uploads across 22 platforms. See the Hootsuite alternative breakdown and the pricing comparison for the side-by-side numbers.
Test the full API before paying anything
