He built the clipping tool. The API handles everywhere it goes.

A creator who built his own clipping app with ChatGPT and Claude, and publishes its output through the API.

Before Upload-Post

Every clip was posted one at a time in each native app. Running several channels that way took more time than the work deserved.

How it works now

Carter runs several properties: Counterpoint Studios and Bible Alive on YouTube, and ChannelScale, his boutique content-marketing agency.

He built SlicePost, an internal app that cuts long-form video into clips — "vibe coded" with ChatGPT and Claude. It is in private testing and only he uses it. SlicePost calls the Upload-Post API to distribute the clips across accounts and platforms.

At Counterpoint Studios he uses the same API directly to publish short clips from the long-form work.

What changed

  • About 30 minutes saved on every post, adding up to hours each week.
  • More posts, more accounts and more reach, with far less of the publishing burden.
  • Long-form work gets sliced and distributed quickly enough to keep several properties running at once.
It is the most robust, developer-friendly, and reasonably priced solution I've found.
