Before Upload-Post

Publishing ran on Buffer plus a lot of manual uploading. Buffer charges per connected account, so every new market made the tool more expensive at exactly the moment it needed to grow cheaper.

Everything moved over in June, and none of it moved back.

How it works now

Scripts generate the videos. The same scripts call the Upload-Post API, which schedules every clip into the right accounts and distributes it to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

Cadence is two clips per day per market, all scheduled through the API. Roughly 2,000 posts a month are queued this way.

Launching a country is a configuration block and a script run — the reason the operation grew from two brands to around twelve.

What changed

  • Prof Quiz now runs in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch and Polish.
  • In France alone: 482K on TikTok, 415K on Facebook, 76K on Instagram and 4.9K on YouTube.
  • 353 videos a month become 1,352 published posts once distributed across networks.
Publishing went from something I had to plan my month around to one command I run and forget.

In their own words

“If you want to run several brands on autopilot, the API is the whole point: you stop thinking about publishing and go back to making content.”

“Opening a new country is now a config block and a script run, so the cost of testing a market dropped to almost nothing.”

“It's the publishing layer of the entire operation.”
