How to connect Upload-Post to Claude Cowork

You add the connector once in Claude. It takes about two minutes.

Step 1

Open Connectors

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner first adds it in Organization settings, Connectors, Add, Custom.

Step 2

Paste the URL

Name it Upload-Post and paste https://mcp.upload-post.com/mcp. There is no API key to enter.

Step 3

Sign in with OAuth

Approve access with your Upload-Post account on app.upload-post.com. Claude saves the connector for your chats and your Cowork tasks.

Step 4

Start a Cowork task

Open Cowork in Claude Desktop, paste the setup prompt below, and ask it to list your Upload-Post profiles. Then give it a real job.

Use the Upload-Post connector for every request about posting, scheduling, analytics, comments or DMs on my social media accounts.

1. First, list my Upload-Post profiles and the social accounts connected to each.
2. Only use tools the Upload-Post connector actually exposes. Never invent tool names or parameters.
3. Before you publish, schedule, reply or send a DM, show me the caption, the accounts and the date and time (with timezone), and wait for my OK.
4. After publishing, check the upload status and tell me the result for each platform.

Can Claude Cowork post on a schedule?

Yes. Cowork hands the schedule to Upload-Post, and Upload-Post publishes each post at the set time, even with your computer closed.

Troubleshooting the Claude Cowork connector

The five things that usually go wrong, and how to fix them.

I do not see Add custom connector

Custom connectors and Cowork need a paid Claude plan. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner has to add Upload-Post in Organization settings, Connectors, Add, Custom before members can connect it.

The OAuth sign-in fails or closes

Remove the connector, add it again with the exact URL https://mcp.upload-post.com/mcp, and sign in with the Upload-Post account that owns your connected social accounts.

Cowork writes the posts but does not publish them

Tell Cowork to use the Upload-Post connector for every social media step, then repeat the task. Asking it to list your Upload-Post profiles first confirms the tools are available.

Cowork cannot find my videos

Local files are a Claude Desktop feature. Make sure the folder with your media is one Cowork can work in, name the folder in the task, and run it from the desktop app.

A social account is missing

Connect that account to a profile at app.upload-post.com first, then tell Cowork "List my Upload-Post profiles again."

How does Claude Cowork work with Upload-Post?
