You connect the app once in ChatGPT. It takes about three minutes.
In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Security and login, and enable Developer mode. On a Business workspace, your admin controls which apps are allowed.

Approve access with your Upload-Post account on app.upload-post.com. No API key is needed.

You can use the Upload-Post app I connected in ChatGPT
(https://mcp.upload-post.com/mcp). Follow these rules:
1. Use Upload-Post for every request about posting, scheduling, analytics, comments or DMs on my social media accounts.
2. Only use tools the server actually exposes. Never invent tool names or parameters.
3. Start with a read-only call: list my Upload-Post profiles and the accounts connected to each.
4. Before publishing, scheduling, replying or sending a DM, show me the caption, the target accounts and the date and time (with timezone), and wait for my OK.

Dots need a ChatGPT Pro or Business plan in an eligible market, and were not available in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland at launch. On Business, a workspace admin has to enable them first.
Turn on Developer mode first: Settings, then Security and login. After that, go to ChatGPT Plugins and click "+". On a Business workspace, your admin may need to allow custom apps.
Check that Upload-Post shows as connected in ChatGPT, then tell your Dots to use the Upload-Post app for every social media request. Asking them to list your Upload-Post profiles first also helps.
Connect that account to a profile at app.upload-post.com first, then ask "List my Upload-Post profiles again."
Always give a timezone with the time, for example "Tuesday at 10am Madrid time". The setup prompt asks your Dots to repeat the date, time and timezone before scheduling.
