You add the custom app once in Gemini settings. It takes about two minutes.
On gemini.google.com, open Settings, then Connected Apps, then Custom apps for Spark.

Approve access with your Upload-Post account on app.upload-post.com. Spark can now use the Upload-Post tools.
Paste the setup prompt below into Spark and ask it to list your Upload-Post profiles. Then ask it to post, or hand it an ongoing job.
Use the Upload-Post app for every request about posting, scheduling, analytics, comments or DMs on my social media accounts.
1. First, list my Upload-Post profiles and the social accounts connected to each.
2. Only use tools the Upload-Post app actually exposes. Never invent tool names or parameters.
3. Before you publish, schedule, reply or send a DM, show me the caption, the accounts and the date and time (with timezone), and wait for my OK.
4. After publishing, check the upload status and tell me the result for each platform. Setup details, tool reference and auth options are in the MCP server docs. The server is open source: Upload-Post/upload-post-mcp.
Every capability maps to documented Upload-Post tools. Spark picks the right one from your request.
Tell Spark what to post, where and when. It picks the right Upload-Post tool for the job.
Upload videos, photos and text to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky and Google Business.
"Post this tomorrow at 6pm" becomes a scheduled post. Spark can also add posts to your queue and check their status.
Ask which posts performed best this week and get the numbers from your connected accounts.
Read new comments, draft replies and handle direct messages without opening each app.
Stage media files and trim, convert or re-encode video with the FFmpeg tools before it goes out.
Gemini Spark is Google's agent that keeps working in the cloud around the clock. You give it a job once, and it carries on with it using the apps you have connected.
The Upload-Post MCP is a hosted Model Context Protocol server that gives AI agents your connected social accounts as tools. It is the same server behind our ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini integrations.
No commands to memorize. Just describe what you want.
“Post this clip to Reels, TikTok and Shorts tomorrow at 6pm.”
“Every Friday, send me my five best posts of the week.”
“Keep an eye on comments on my last video and draft replies for me.”
“List my Upload-Post profiles and the accounts connected to each.”
Spark keeps working in the cloud after you close the tab. With Upload-Post connected, you can hand it jobs that repeat, like watching comments or sending a weekly report, instead of asking for the same thing every day.
Ongoing job Comment watch
Every morning, read new comments on my
last three YouTube Shorts and Instagram
Reels through Upload-Post. Draft a reply
for each one that needs an answer and
send me the list. Post a reply only
after I approve it.Yes. Spark hands the schedule to Upload-Post, and Upload-Post publishes each post at the set time.
One request can create several scheduled posts, each with its own date, time and accounts.
Ask Spark to add posts to your Upload-Post queue instead of picking every slot by hand.
Ask what is scheduled and Spark reads it back from Upload-Post, so you can change plans before anything goes out.
The custom app uses OAuth, so you approve access with a sign-in and never paste a key into Gemini.
The same Upload-Post server works everywhere. What changes is how you connect it.
