Add this integration in Lindy
Integrations > + Add > MCP
URL https://mcp.upload-post.com/mcp
Display name Upload-Post
Auth OAuth (starts automatically)
Advanced Authorization: ApiKey YOUR_API_KEY No API key needed. Approve access with your Upload-Post account when Lindy asks.
You add it once as an integration. It takes about two minutes.
In Lindy, open Integrations, click + Add and choose MCP.
Paste https://mcp.upload-post.com/mcp, set the Display name to Upload-Post and click Connect.
OAuth starts automatically. Approve access with your Upload-Post account. Under Advanced you can use a bearer token or the header Authorization: ApiKey YOUR_API_KEY instead.
All Upload-Post tools arrive enabled. Turn off the ones this Lindy should not use, for example DMs, then paste the prompt below.
Use the Upload-Post MCP integration for every task about posting, scheduling, analytics, comments or DMs on my social media accounts.
- Only use tools the integration actually exposes. Never invent tool names or parameters.
- Before you publish, schedule, reply or send a DM, show me the caption, the accounts and the date and time (with timezone), and wait for my OK.
- After publishing, check the upload status and tell me the result for each platform.
Start by listing my Upload-Post profiles and the social accounts connected to each. Setup details, tool reference and auth options are in the MCP server docs. The server is open source: Upload-Post/upload-post-mcp.
Every capability maps to documented Upload-Post tools. Your Lindy picks the right one from your request.
Tell your Lindy what to post, where and when. It picks the right Upload-Post tool for the job.
Upload videos, photos and text to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky and Google Business.
"Post this on Tuesday at 8am" becomes a scheduled post. Lindy can also add posts to your queue and check their status.
Ask which posts performed best this week and get the numbers from your connected accounts.
Read new comments and draft replies. DM tools are there too if you leave them switched on.
Stage media files and trim, convert or re-encode video with the FFmpeg tools before it goes out.
Lindy (lindy.ai) is a no-code platform for building AI employees: agents that handle a job for you, on request or when a trigger fires. Each Lindy uses the integrations you give it, and MCP servers count as integrations.
The Upload-Post MCP is a hosted Model Context Protocol server that gives AI agents your connected social accounts as tools. It is the same server behind our ChatGPT, Claude and Manus integrations.
URL https://mcp.upload-post.com/mcp
Auth OAuth 2.1 (PKCE)
or
Header Authorization: ApiKey YOUR_API_KEY
or
Bearer YOUR_API_KEYNo commands to memorize. Just describe what you want.
“Post this clip to Reels, TikTok and Shorts tomorrow at 6pm.”
“Every Monday, send me last week's best posts with their numbers.”
“Draft replies to new comments on my last video and wait for my OK.”
“List my Upload-Post profiles and the accounts connected to each.”
A trigger starts the Lindy, and Upload-Post does the posting. No copy and paste in between.
When a video lands in a Google Drive folder, the Lindy writes a caption and schedules it on TikTok, Reels and Shorts through Upload-Post.
Plan posts in a spreadsheet. Each new row with a caption, a media link and a date becomes a scheduled post.
Every Friday the Lindy pulls your best posts of the week from Upload-Post and sends you a short report.
Yes. Lindy hands the schedule to Upload-Post, and Upload-Post publishes each post at the set time, even if your computer is off.
One request can create several scheduled posts, each with its own date, time and accounts.
Ask your Lindy to add posts to your Upload-Post queue instead of picking every time by hand.
Ask what is scheduled and Lindy reads it back from Upload-Post, so you can change plans before anything goes out.
You pick which tools your Lindy gets, and guardrails can make it ask before anything goes public.
The same Upload-Post server works everywhere. What changes is how you connect it.

Free. The MCP server is open source and works with every Upload-Post plan.
10 uploads a month, no credit card. TikTok is not included on the free plan.
Lindy runs on paid plans and offers a free trial. Check lindy.ai for current plans.
The five things that usually go wrong, and how to fix them.
Remove the integration and add it again, then approve access with the Upload-Post account that owns your social accounts. If it still fails, open Advanced and add the header Authorization: ApiKey YOUR_API_KEY.
Check the Upload-Post integration in Lindy. All tools start enabled, so if one is missing it was probably switched off. Turn it back on for that Lindy.
If you added a guardrail, the Lindy is waiting for your approval. Approve the pending action, then ask it to check the upload status.
Upload-Post has to be able to fetch the media. Have the Lindy pass a link Upload-Post can reach, or stage the file with the Upload-Post media tools first.
Connect that account to a profile at app.upload-post.com first, then ask the Lindy to list your Upload-Post profiles again.
One Upload-Post account, the same MCP server, any assistant.
Lindy + social media, answered. Last updated September 2026.
